It seems just a dream but it's real!

The sight of the different colored-lights welcomed me when the plane was about to land. I wished i had my digicam at that time and would surely flash a pretty scene. It was a 12-hr flight from Manila to LA but for me, it was quick. I slept all the way to US,just woke up when food was served. When i first step my foot on the ground, a playful trick came out from my mind:"like to kiss the ground and feel the coldness of the solid surface. Oh people will see me and might tell i'm crazy so i just hurried myself to face the port officer and then got my baggage.Oh there were numerous filipino around and it felt good that it gave the feeling of being at HOME. The crowd will make u feel u r at home and make u feel so excited, thinking what might be in store for me in this kind of place. So excited that i had carried my bag which was 26kilos,just to hurry myself to meet the person who was waiting for me outside,my Love.

He didnt see me,he was waiting patienly for an hour, but i saw my Franko. Instead of waving, i surprised him by going to the crowd where he was in and fastly slipped myself beside him:"Are you waiting for somebody?"He was so surprised that he kissed me right away and grabbed him away from the crowd. Oh i could see the happiness in his eyes, even i cant described what i felt. There was a moment of silence that only our eyes were communicating while we were walking outside towards his car,in each others arms (twas soooo freezing cold).

We had travelled more than hours to get back to Bakersfield and we had all the time chatting. We missed each other so much. We went to a restaurant and dropped by different stores and went shopping. Even if he's really tired, he showed me Bakersfield that we arrived to our HOME around 11pm. I was surprised by the presents he prepared for me when i entered the room. There were big valentine heart balloons, stuffed teddy bears with hearts and chocolates. Romantic notes written on cards, sets of watches and necklaces were also given to me. The night was so memorable. For all the efforts that we exerted to be with each other & all the preparations and hardships, we have the right to be happy with the person we love. We have reaped what we have planted

My first and my second day was a bit crazy...i easily get motion sickness. Im always sleepy and then figured out what's wrong with me. But i spent my days fruitfully. I did my laundry, learned to use the washing machine and dryer without Frank's assistance. I tried the portable vacuum cleaner on all carpeted floors of the room. Put flowers to the vases i found on the other room, arrange porcelain figurines and decors. Took a walk nearby and wanted to try that bicycle Frank bought for me a year ago,he didnt use his bicycle too,for he's waiting for me to come.My system slowly adjusted to the place, climate and time.

I met his son,Greg and his family. I am so happy that they have welcomed me warmly with hugs and kisses. The kids ,oh i love them, really like me that they love being with me.We played and ate pizza yesterday at chuke's cheese. We shopped and had a great time. Now i am in my fiance's office. Sitting at the table where i should be as the owner's future wife hehe.(Got to design web pages for him, trying to recall my knowledge for i think i have left it in Philippines) I am so excited to share my endeavors and experiences to my co- members and friends. Right now Im chatting to Mari (erichu) even asked her how was/is she (we went to US same day and shared experience at the airport) I am telling u this guys cos as for now, ur the ones awake! kidding, vj is a family. One's happiness is everyone's happiness.I miss u guys!

I am so happy for my friends and myself. Hope everybody is doing good abroad and back in PI.
I will always enjoy my stay in my new place as long as Franko is beside me.
I got all what it takes to be HAPPY.

We got what it takes to be HAPPY.
Carpe Diem! Rejoice while we are alive.
I thank God for this new experience, and i am enjoying it.

Welcome to the USofA! Cali is indeed a home away from home. And if you're craving for a taste of home, don''t forget to drop by Seafood City supermarket in the West Covina area.
