Does the DS-156K have to be completed electronically? I filled it out by hand but I am unsure if where I would fill it out electronically?

The DS-156K only comes in PDF form (unlike the DS-156), so you're fine with filling out by hand or in PDF and printing it. There's no barcode on the DS-156K.
