Hi everyone! My sister is going to spend 5 weeks in China over the summer with her college professor and a group of students.
She told me that she's going to so "see Tibet, stay in Shaogun, & then go to Beijing".
Can you give me information about a tourist visa please? Should she apply for the single entry? Is it still $50?
Anything you can tell me would be great - we appreciate it.

Thanks.

If you are flying in and then out of China the single entry visa is all that is needed. If you fly into China then take a short trip to lets say Hong Kong, or Taiwan, and then back to China before comming home, you will need a double entry visa.

I always used http://www.oasischinavisa.com/ to get China visas, they are inexpensive and fast.

$50 for the visa and $20 for Oasis service.
