Well no, don't do that! Holding your breath whilst waiting for CSC could have nasty consequences...

Tell me about it!
Another week has passed - still no NOA2. I'd get my hopes up for next week if I actually thought it was worth my effort.
At this point, I'm just hoping to be within their 6 month 'processing time', or, at the very least, that they haven't completely lost my case.

This has probably been suggested but have you tried your local senator? We contacted ours and he fired them off an email. They replied and told him it would be done by the end of that month. It was.
It's worth a try...

I considered it, but I was told by Huskerkiev (former NSC adjudicator) that its waaaaaaay to early for me to consider it, and that all they would tell me anyway is that I'm within processing times.

I would do it too, my now mother in law did.
Mine wasn't even taking that long, and she got them to enquire and then I suddenly got it and shot right through to the embassy.
You can't lose, if they tell you to wait...well you already are, and if not, then you get it

Well, I called just to ask them questions and I was essentially patronized to because I'm still within processing times. I was basically told that once that passes, then they can ask for a 'status'. Until then, continue to bend over and take it up the arse.
I'm 99% sure that I'm going to take an April trip to London for his birthday. Its obvious to me now that I won't be able to afford to go to his interview (cos it will likely be during the height of summer airfare) AND his ticket to move here, so I might as well take a trip over while the airfare is reasonable.
Here's hoping we can get him here before he'd have to renew his cab license in September - otherwise he'll have to pay out the nose for a license that he may only have to use for a month (or not renew and be unable to work the last while he is there).

I would seriously consider the congressman thing if I were you.
And your right about the traveling to see him before the summer hits, plus ,its closer than summer!
I'm hoping to see something come for you reall

I'm still praying for you guys!!! I hope someone gets off their fat arse, dusts off your case file and gets that approval out to you soon! I can't imagine what the holdup is! For God's sake, you're marrying a Brit!!!!
Anyway, I hope you did plan your trip for April - it will lift your spirits to spend some time with your sweetie! Thats what I'm doing - I leave 6 weeks today!
Keep your chin up - the approval WILL come!

This is crappy.

I can't believe you've still not got it, Tracy... you've been the calm & collected voice of reason for so many 'WHERETHEHELLISMYNOA2???!?!?!?!' panickers (myself included, to a degree, I think!), it's sooo unfair that it has to get to the stage where even you know that CSC is just taking the p!ss. I didn't go near VJ all last week, and was so sad to come back and see that you still haven't got your NOA2... so not fair. Maybe it really is time (or almost time) to get some congressperson to give CSC a kick up the arse... it does sound like it has worked in some cases.
I (still) have my fingers crossed... yours needs to be the very next approval out of that place...!

Ohhhh, am so happy (and relieved) you finally got it - congrats to both of you! Have been wondering every day how you're doing... did the NOA2 just magically appear, or did you have to harrass USCIS about it?
Excellent news... may the rest of this process go swimmingly for you!

Don't feel guilty....I had a hard time coming on here until I had my visa interview. Not cos I begrudged anyone their NOA2/Visas, but because it is hard when you are waiting and waiting and nothing good seems to be coming your way.
I think this good news deserves a drinkie poo! Anyone?

I will be having a drink when I get home later - and Chas and I already plan to get a bottle of bubbly and celebrate when I'm there next month.
Who knows - I just might let him get me tipsy and take advantage of me.

Hey since the UK mojo worked for Tracy can some one send it my way. I really need it. =0( I dont know what else to do any more. Im willing to try all the mojos there is. I will do any thing I just want to be with my husband too.

Bless your heart, dip_sticks. I thought about you yesterday. Remind me again what you've done - talked to your senator or congressman, etc.
I really think we should set up the UK mojo squad for you. Although mojo isn't always fast - it took me a month yet past my original post to get NOA2. (I'm halfway convinced we got mixed in w/ Dec filers.)

Congrats, TracyTN! In no time you'll be joining the rest of us moaning about packet 4 and interview dates.

Hope the process speeds up for you now.

Dip_sticks, I can't believe you're still waiting. Every time I see you post, I think that maybe you've
finally received an approval. Have you heard anything new about your case?
