I believe the DS-230 part II is only for immigrant visas, but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone else who's done a K1 can confirm

Those would be filled out by the beneficiary (the visa applicant). Not sure if those are required, what does the checklist state?

The DS-156k is a complement to the DS-156 that you fill electronically. Beneficiary fills it up. You bring both at the interview.
So you fill it up by hand, its only one page, but DO NOT WRITE below the gray line, this is the sheet that you will actually sign in front of the officer at your interview and its basically saying that you intend to marry your fiance within 90 days...etc
So fill it up and DO NOT SIGN IT!
Its written on the sheet anyways do not right below this part, and thats for USCIS....im at work right now but i can confirm tonight.
I will check for the DS-230 part II, i dont remember seeing that or sending that with my checklist, but again i got the copies at home so i will check later.
Ok just looked on the forms
K-1 is a NON-immigrant Visa, so only part I should have been filled and sent with the Checklist (or as soon as you received packet 3 of you sent checklist later)
Part II is not applying to us.

I concur with this... No part II needs to be filled out for Montreal K-1'ers

DS-230 II is not needed. I took one anyway but they confirmed that I didn't have to.

Thanks, I really appreciate the clarification. Now I have to fill out the electronic DS-156 form.
Needless to say, I am totally flipping out about my file ---- Am I the only one who is having a panic attack about whether or not I have everything needed? I have been looking at all our forms and evidence for so long, that I am now conviced that I have missed somenthing trival or momumental!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

List all the documents that you have that you are going to bring to the interview and we'll do a quick spot check for you.
