Just wondering... I see that it's had a couple of immigration-related news stories posted to it. I've found articles like that occasionally and put them in off-topic... so now do they go in this forum? If so, good idea! We could call it the 'gallery of the weird' or 'What NOT to do' because so many of them involve clueless iditots.

Its always been locked to members. The best bet is if you have anything to PM it to him.

I thought it might be open now since it's basically a whole new board and it has different software... oh well...

If you think it is useful I will open it up. I just want to restrict it to posting articles on immigration. What do you think?

Personally I'd say let people post to it, but if you see anything that's NOT an immigration-news article then delete the thread. Otherwise you have to devote a moderator to posting people's articles for them, because an empty forum doesn't look good, and there ARE things that could easily go in it.

I say let the person submit it and Ewok posts it. If he doesn't think needs to go in there the person still has the option of posting it Off Topic or elsewhere. I would hope Ewok checks his facts before posting something as news that is merely rumor and I'm afraid that's what would happen with everyone sticking stuff in there.

I am going to open it up to post articles. I will place a moderation queue so that we have to approve articles posted to make sure they are appropriate.
