I can't believe the time has finally come

I called NVC this morning & I have an interview scheduled for my CR1 on March 20, 2007 @ 8:30am.. !!!!! I'm so freakin excited !

I just found out mine too, March 29 8:30. i cant believe they scheduled me one, the nightmare is almost over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the lady told me that i will have to attend a seperate interview for my daughter, but i dont even care at this point, i just can't believe its almost here!!

Congrats!! I'm so happy for you too! From your time line, your case was completed as of Jan 11, 07. And you got your interview around the middle of Feb... Mine was completed on Feb 13.. I hope around the same time next month, I'll get my interview date for April! hehehehe

Hi Riblet!

Ya, my husband called me on Feb 13 and told me he got 2 letters from the NVC, 1 saying we didn't pay the bill for $380 and one saying we're missing this and that and he started freaking out! (We paid everything and we submitted everything) So I told him to calm down while I call the NVC. Was on hold for a few minutes and I finally got through, told them what happened.. and the guy said to IGNORE the letters because according to the system, our case was complete 'today' (on Feb 13)!! Of course we were jumping up and down.. so then I continued to bug him... I said, oh so does the NVC assign an interview date for me? And he said... yes...but let me tell you this: The March dates have been all assigned (This is when I talked to him on Feb 13) But do call back around March 15 - 16 as that will be when we (NVC) assigns interview dates... so it'll probably be some time around April... that's what he said!! I'm not gonna try to really get my hopes up but I can't help it!! So I guess it is true! They assign cases around the 15th of every month... Riblet I think your husband's case will be complete either this week or the next and I think your case will probably meet the March 15th deadline.. which means you guys might be able to get something assigned around March 15th! For me it's sorta close cause my case was completed on Feb 13 (2 days away from the Feb 15th) deadline.. UNLESS a miracle happens and they schedule me in, I think I'll just be a good little girl and wait for my turn in March... oh well.. it's already march net week! I'm really crossing my fingers here! ^__^

PS: After submitting DS-230, NVC spent 2 weeks looking at it and case was completed within 2 weeks! All thanks to James' shortcuts!

Oh and Thanks for adding me to that Montreal Thread! I figure I was gonna ask you when my case is completed but I forgot hahah
