Congrats Hanster I myself just got touched on EAD, and hope to get the approval email tomorrow like you. hehe BTW, do you think I can start working just to show this email to the employer?

i hope u get urs tomorrow. you wait and see how happy you will be when you get the email. both my wife and I were thrilled and she started thinking about what horse she is gonna buy with my first check. lol

as for starting work with just showing the email to the employer, i am not too sure about it, but i read on VJ that people usually receive the card in 5 days of receiving the email, so if you could wait these 5 days i would since you will never know if there would be an error on the EAD card and you would have to request another one or not. in addition, i am not sure if an employer would accept the email as proof of work eligibility.
if you are urgent about getting the job tomorrow, you can see if the employer will accept it.
i had a job interview today and i told the employer that i got a touch last night and that most likely i will be getting the card this week or next and he was fine with it. the only thing is the job does not start till may and i do not know if i got the job or not. lol

i got another touch on my EAD the day after they send me the emails about card production.
i hope i have some touches on my AOS now since i still have not received my interview letter yet

After a few days of touches, I got the card production emails last night. Woooo!
I filed at the end of December, so it took around 80 days.

OK, finally after three days touches, I got card production email just now. Now, my question is how long after I will get approval email for EAD. Never ending... I really can't wait till this thing is over.

My card production was ordere d on February 20th and I actually received the card on February 26th.

Our EAD card was ordered on the 9th, and we still haven't received it. I've read cases where it arrived in 2 days. I hope my neighbors didn't accidentally receive my mail again...

I received my EAD yesterday on the 16th, and i received the card production email on monday

So i received my EAD car on Friday March 16th, and on Saturday March 17th I had a touch on my EAD online.. how weird is that??
is it maybe that they set that folder on the side?? or could it be that maybe that touched my AOS by mistake and updated the wrong one online?? since i still have not received an interview letter yet.

My EAD was also touched the day after I received the card. Hopefully you will get your interview letter soon. I was starting to think mine was lost in the mail (because Boston is processing applications in 3-4 months and I applied 3 months ago), but I did get it today. My AOS application still hasn't been touched since January.

I think it is normal to get another touch on your 765 after card production ordered-mine was touched 2x after card production ordered because they also send you an approval letter for the 765 after you get the card. I don't think people typically see updates on the 485 when they are about to get interview notice-it apparently just shows up.

Yeah...I think ours got "misplaced". That's ok, however...our interview is Tuesday!!!

No action on EAD for 2 months and finally a touch yesterday and today Hopefully approval soon Can't wait to get working... wooohooooooo

Thank you and congratulations on getting your green card! our interview will be at Govenment Center too. We'll be taking the bus in from Burlington (only about 30ish minutes) and it'll bring us right there for our interview.

Very concerned about EAD as have pending job offer- urgent....
Do you think they will send EAD with AP even though only a touch on EAD?
Did anyone else have this happen - ie approval on one and only touch on the other, and then receive both in the mail?

Aww, I hope you do get it very soon and that your employer can wait a few more weeks for you to start if need be.

I had it happen earlier this week, but the opposite way round. I received emails regarding my EAD approval last week & then on Monday received my EAD & AP in the mail. I didn't even open the AP envelope for a while as I thought it was an approval notice for EAD

I also got CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED on 23 March.

It states that it will take 30 days, but does anyone have experience with how long it REALLY takes?

i received the email on a monday night and received the card that fridat, so basically in about 4 days
