Joined today, and looking forward to sharing stories with others! I'm from Westland, MI, and my fiancee' is from Ontario, Canada. We filed the I-129F on 2/6, so we're just starting and my head is SWIMMING . Fortunately, we have an immigration attorney to help us through the sea of madness. Ours will be tricky as my fiancee' drives truck from Windsor to the US on a daily basis, so we broke down and paid a professional. My SO and I have related geography. I'm in Canada, but I'm in BC. And he's in MI (and I'm on my way there).
There's lots to learn here. Read the guides (see the tab at the top) and browse the relevant forums, and you'll learn a lot that way.

That doesn't sound very promising! But I know what you mean, and quite frankly I'm not a fan of lawyers (sorry lawyers!), which is why I joined VJ...keep up on the inside poop while they work out the kinks...thanks, and good luck!
