hey guys just wanted to say i phoned the visa center and checked on my case for cr-1 .. i cant believe what i heard yes.. it took only two weeks to review my documents and papers. CASE COMPLETED ON FEB 8, 2007... Thank God.. im close to interview. hayyyyyyyyyy few more months and i will be with my asawa soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goodluck to us all...hmm i wonder when will have my appointment for interview?. geez this petition is full of excitement..

I just called NVC and some how was not updated till last night, but we found out we were approved on the 6th, two days before you. Congratulations, and God Bless All this week, quite a lot of good news along with Valentines Day. Hope we are all together with our loved ones soon.

Let me add some good news to Jeff's and Boo's news,
My spouse has K-3 Interview for March 22 and today I found out the CR-1 case got completed. Now, it also says, wait for 8 weeks for further instructions, what the hell does that mean?

Great to hear. we got the same news yesterday. As to the switch to CR-1 not sure, but I would call the embassy once they receive your case and check into it. Good luck with rest of the journey, it is almost over.

Kyle, the automated system says 6-8 weeks but they have been processing in about 4 weeks. You should be completed about the 14th March, Good luck and many prayers for a speedy completion.

Congratulations BOO.Im so happy for you.Hearing good news from people going through the same journey as mine boost my spirit.....I sent my DS-230 couple of days ago..Now im waiting for NVC notice..I know it would take like 2-4 weeks for them to review everything. im patiently waiting ..I just hope i dont get an RFE..
