Any one going through india embassy?

Please tell me what all is needed to send with DS230 application?
do i have to send my spouses: police certificate + birth certificate + any thing else...

I know he has to fill out the application + photocopy of his passport....but what about any other documents that he needs?

I'm going through the Mumbai embassy on a CR/IR1 visa, and for the DS230, all I had to submit was the DS230 part 1 and the photocopy of the passport. Since you are doing a K3 visa, I'm not sure if you need any additional information.
