I've been reading everyones post for awhile now....The jokes ,life in general,in the roads you have all takin..be it easy or rough...but every lil bit has help...one way or another you know there are others going through the same thing you are....Its a scarey process knowing someone holds your future in there hands...
As for me and Keigwyn this process has gone fast for us...his interveiw is March 20th...the only sad part is he wont have time to see me before the 20th so i will go see him in may....its the longest we have been apart in over a year...I have been very lucky cause i see how long some of you have been apart...i have been blessed where that is concerned..
I just want to thank everyone for their stories and what they went through...cause it has helped...Where not alone..

Hi!! Where are you in the UP?? Craig is from Gillingham, Kent and has been here just over a year(came Jan 18 2005) He will be going home the end of March for about a 3 week visit...we are all going next year, can't afford it right now! Anywayyyyy great to see someone else close by! We are RIGHT (ok within 15 miles) on the border of upper Michigan either direction we go...I have a close friend who lives a ways away(but not far!) in Marquette...PM me if you live close to the border of WI..or really..whereever you live if you might want to meet up sometime..the UP isn't THAT big, so I'm sure we could arrange it whereever you are..cool! Hi.....Im not very far from Marquette....about 45 minutes....hop jump in a skip as we say.....it looks like there sitting on 2ft of the pretty white stuff the blew in last night...That would be great if we could meet up sometime....Colin has his interview on the 20th of march...fingers crossed...then i will be going to the UK in the beginning of May...I live id say about a a hr from the border of wisconsin...Maybe a bit more...We will have to keep in touch so once things get settle we could meet up...Take Care...Lisa...

I'm from the MI/WI border too. (Don't live there at the moment but go back regularly). My fiance is from Morocco. I wish you the best of luck with your interview. Seems like the UP is going to get filled up with Brits . We're planning our wedding in Iron Mountain, MI right now so we'll be home soon!!! Yay!

Hi....I wish you all the happiness there is to wish....Iron Mountain is not far from me....Me And Colin headed that way to the Wallace Zoo....I just love that place.... ....and Ive been to the Blue Lagoon Fish store....Thats right in Iron Montain....The UP is a beautiful place to live...If you like the country livin...Which i do...but am ready for mud season as i call it...ive had enough of the winter...Well you take care...And best wishish to you....Lisa

That would be great.... ...We usally go up to marquette to pick up my supplies for my fish tanks...ill just head the other direction...in go to Iron Mountain....There is another couple where i live that her husband is from england...an when he met keigwyn...it was kinda of cute...cause you could see he was abit home sick...but it helped talking to someone from his home land...probly the first thing he asked was what he thought of our pasties... ...It was neat listening to them talk ....total diffrent accents...Keigwyn is always correcting me...lol...Im a yooper plain and simple... ...well i hope you have a wonderful day...take care...lisa
