I lived there all of my life (over 40 years) before I moved here to Virginia. I miss Montreal so much even tho the Blue Ridge Mountains are now my home.

Montreal is a wonderful place! It's USCIS that's useless. Didn't you know that's what the acronym stands for?

When I first arrived in Canada in 1967, it was to Montreal, which gave this Jersey Girl and her draft dodger husband INSTANT landed immigrant status. I stayed in Canada 38 years before returning to the Tony Soprano State.

So when I travelled back for the Montreal interview (with my Canadian-Portuguese husband), I had an absolute blast. Le shopping! La viande fumee! La poutine!

If Quebec ever separates, we'd love to have them join the States. They'll be a romantic themepark and could speak all the French they want, because we Yanks love hearing the langue d'amour!

Why do you have to be like that, that is just cruel!!! I guess we will have that in common this summer. I will be enjoying Timmies in Saskatoon, and you will be enjoying Timmies while you wait for your interview, that is if he doesn't run away with the HOT tim hortons chic!! lol!! Just kidding!!

I had a Starbucks carmel machiatto today with espresso brownie to celebrate passing of one pharmacology exams!!

That is just CRUEL! AUGH! I haven't had Timmy's in AGES! I've ran out of my tin here at home, no clue as to when I'll be flying back to my husband's home...my home too one of these days...and NOW I get this visual of a XL dbl dbl. WITH Boston Cream no less! *lays down and just cries*

What I don't get is why they are taking so long just to schedule the damn interviews? I mean, couldn't they just pencil you in for whatever date they have available? Or does that make too much sense?

Yeah anything would be fine, is it that hard to open the pages of the next months just to at least schedule and let people know??

I mean, yeah I saw one person getting her appointemn on Feb 27, and she sent her checklist 12 days before me. And I got an appointment for April 4th....But hey I dont care at least I have a date, something to focus on and I can start packing up my stuff and schedule my wedding. Its like tell us 4 months in advance, but tell us!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you are feeling about this, Im really hoping for you to get an appointment soon, youve been waiting for a long time!

I looked at the timelines...........theres like us and 4 others who havent been scheduled from 2006.......any others not showing an interview date havent been seen on the board in months.

Maybe you should just show up in Montreal and insist you had an interview scheduled for that day

Not that I'm advocating lying to federal officials or anything, but the idea seemed slightly hilarious to me just now...but that's what happens when the visa journey starts to go to your head

It's just so frustrating!!! Frigging Montreal, hope you hear something soon!!!
