Nicknames given to us by our SOs...

Well my hubby calls me a few things.
Monkey, turttle lips, princess, and we call each other egg instead of baby. We wanted to use a different word other than "baby" beacuse every one uses baby so we came up with "egg". Its so funny now we use egg like its a normal thing and people look at us funny when we say egg out loud and wonder why on earth are we calling each other egg. jejej

Hmm..the standard Habibti.. then Shaytana, itsy bitsy evil (he learned itsy bitsy spider), Mermaid, juju, killer, habibtoh, beebti, etc.

He calls me his flower.

I call him habibi or his name. I'm not creative.

haha tomato...that reminded me of another name he calls me... "chantoora bandoora"
and i forgot about hayate, rohe, haji (sp).....

"cat herder" cause she's always shooing that cats outta one room

We don't really do cute nicknames; we're just not into that. We call each other either by name or "Amore".

you know now that i think of it he also probably calls me other stuff but i just don't know what he's saying. lol.

the meaning behind it is just cool...its as if they hold your heart in their eyes...everything they see is with you in it... *sigh* yeah, i like that one.

I'm also called my "muslim" name. He only calls me by my given name when he's really pissed.

cool 'cause I still don't get it. I mean I knew it was a dear expression but I am still puzzled every time he says it.

it is a deep way to express how much they love you (at least that is what mr grumpy says) .. he also said once that if they really like someone and they never want to be without them, they will say "i put you behind my eyes" and that is similar to saying I will never let go of you (in a matter of speaking)

My husband calls me

hollydays ..... that's the big one... i'm almost never called just holly anymore, even by his friends and family, i don't even know where it came from

I had forgotten about hayate too.. We very seldom use each others real names... I dunno why that is really... hmmm.... I know that I'm a stickler for saying names exactly right so I steer away from saying Noor coz it always comes out Nor instead of NOOOOR and that drives me nuts!! lol... as far as what he calls me... I'll have to ask him about that lol...

Bataaaaaaaa all the time...sometimes I'm a cute duck, but mostly just bata. I'm not sure why I'm being called a duck but when it comes from his lips with that accent, all is good.

in my family, being all sarcastic all the time...if there's not enough space between a word and the word but...we automatically say..what's a *insert word here*butt?? in this case being "duck butt" lol
