ONE MORE DAY! ONE MORE DAY! ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, last night I packed all of the gifts we are taking to Morocco. Everything took up 3 large bags, which leaves us one bag for our clothes. I have no idea how that's going to happen. Anyway, have to finish cleaning the house and finish the last two loads of laundry, pack all of my cats stuff up, finish packing our clothes, and wait until Friday to get here. I still can't believe that tomorrow is not only our anniversary, but that we are flying to Morocco, and that on Saturday morning, we will be in Morocco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy! I'm so excited. I think I am going to go now. I have to find something to keep me busy at work so I am not thinking about the trip and getting all nervous.

I'd like one too, please - but I'm eating quasi-healthy this morning cuz we're going out for Thai food for lunch and Said will be cooking some kind of fish tagine for me tonite. What a horrible morning. Took me an hour and a half to get to work this morning when it normally takes me a half hour. Didn't help that my car was literally frozen to the road when I went out to it this morning. These are times when I would really love a garage! First storm of the winter, and I'm ready for winter to be over now.

Noura, I didn't know it was your birthday! Happy Brithday!!!!!!! Maybe I'll call you on my lunch and sing for you! That's how much energy I have right now! I'll make sure it's nice and loud and horribly off key because my voice is still not back to normal from this stupid infection.... Anyway, Happy birthday!

It is sooooooo cold here this morning. My car was frozen to the pavement too when I went out to go to work. I heard last night that the temps here are supposed to be almost 60 by next Friday. This morning it was a whopping 12. I'm definitely psyched about this!

took me about ten minutes to pry my car door open this morning. My real estate taxes went from $1,200/quarter to $1,600/quarter and NO roads were plowed or sanded yesterday or today. niiiice.


I am on prednisone and it's making me a raving lunatic with terrets. I feel 50% better joint wise and I can breath a lot better but I'm not taking it again since I"m a total nutjob today.

Sun is shining and the little snowflakes have stopped falling. I am happy that I don't have to drive thru some bad stuff to get home tonight!! And I am really happy that I didn't have to fly to Columbus, Ohio this week . . . those poor ppl on the project that did get there are probably going to have a hard time getting out!!!

Only 8 more days till I depart for Cairo!! Shopping is almost done! Loading of iPod and Zen are on target!

Now, do I need to buy some more chocolat?? I have lots, but I think I'll go get some more of those truffles, hehe!!

What do you normally bring to Cairo for goodies for your hubbies family? Moody had suggested gum so I brought a ton of trident in different flavors and his sisters LOVED it!

hmmmm, I hadn't thought about gum. But now that you mention it . . . maybe I will get some fireballs, lol!!! I am not a gum chewer myself, but I love that hot cinnamon stuff. OK, adding it to my list.

The chocolate is for his family . . . his sister always asks for chocolate but NO white chocolate (no problem, I don't think it is chocolate anyway). I bought some Ghirardelli and Lindt chocolate truffles this time instead of waiting to go thru duty free . . . although i might get some more Belgian chocolates there too . . . but we can get all that stuff easily here before boarding the plane, LOL!!

AND, since I discovered that the International Coffees Suisse Mocha was a hit when I brought some for myself the last time (I cant abide instant coffee anyway so Nescafe is NOT an option, hehe), I am bringing along some more of that along with the Cappucino . . . sugarless varieties too! I am on a mission to turn him into a coffee drinker . . . so this might ease the transition some what. . . also, he needs to quit drinking the Bepsis so much.

My husband had never heard of hot chocolate and I wished I had brought some packages with me since it was so freezing. When I go again it will be July and I dunno if I want him to try it in the dead heat of the summer. lol

Ohhhh my gosh I so cannot take that stuff. It kind of turns me into the Incredible Hulk. Ew. FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE!!!

Omar is making bread at home. Only have to work the afternoon shift so I was able to stay with him this morning. He is making dinner (well finishing the instructions on the crock pot meal) We'll see how it turns out. Got our marriage license. Where is Melly hiding??

j-mag, take about 3 ibuprofen 200mg tablets. They will help with the swelling/inflamation and help with the pain..you can take them every 4 to 6 hours safely... don't be in pain, that is what medicine is for...

Let's see... He leaves Casa at 2am Saturday morning (their time, so about 8pm Friday my time)
He gets in to Chicago at about 1030 am Central time
And home is DFW, about 230pm Saturday

I plan to take him to Don Pablos for fajitas. We went to a Latin restaurant in Rabat last week that made pretty decent fajitas. He liked them, so Im going to take him somewhere that really does 'em up right. With beer
