Today Mark and I first time ever to be together in the Valantine I went to buy hima gift and Card and while Iam picking up card I flet there was no Card can decribe the feelingI have for him, One thing Iam sure of I love my husband more than anything in this world and he is the most precious thing in my life and I really can't live with him ....I love him to death ...I was picking the card and I had tears inmy eyes because this is thefirst time in my whole life to celebrate Valantine's day with someone and I am very happy It's MARK ...

oh misserabble day for me. since my habibi and i have been together we have never been able to spend Valentines together. Last year on this day he was at the IAH aiport and the officers denied him entry for a visit and sent him back to the UK. After not seeing each other for a year and a half I was going crazy because we were both separated by a wall and they would not even let us see each other from far away. And well here we are again and we are still waiting for the darn visa. Cupid please send us an approval soon. ~~sigh

I was paroosing the beliefnet ecards for Valentines Day when I came upon this one. While I am no Rumi expert, I'm pretty sure he wasn't writing about romantic love when he speaks of the Beloved. Has anyone who has studied Rumi want to weigh in on this?

No gripes. Missing my baby, but all a part of the process. Everything is falling into place.

THe only plan we have for V-Day is to pack for our trip on Friday. No nice dinner, no dancing, no bubbly, and even though I got him a card, he probably didn't get me anything. But that's ok, because we I think I am going to make ramen noodles, we'll drink ginger ale, and put on our music while we pack our things and talk about how excited we are to go to Morocco. Sounds like a good V-Day to me!

We've had a nice Valentine's day so far. The tow truck came to pick up Mohammed's new truck and took it to the dealer (grrrr Nissan) and we did a little shopping for our trip. I had a Dr. appointment for my foot. Now he is at the dealer looking over their shoulder while they fix his truck. He hinted we will go out for dinner. oh I hope Al Basha. I love that place.

Ahhh! I bought myself flowers. I knew if he was here, he would have done it! he remembered this holiday, which was an improvement over the fact he forgot:

1. My birthday and
2. My middle name.

He was not scoring well earlier this year LOL! What was better? My middle name is my mother's name. He knew her name, and he knew my father's name, but he just couldn't remember MY middle name.

I told him to bring the birthday and middle name emails to immigration and show them THOSE as proof of a real relaitonship. You know, where he got chewed out and also threatened with couch time and all kinds of stuff LOL!

i bought myself a chocolate bar. i hope he'll do better than that next year. hehe

Last V-day was a bit of a disappointment... so this year I made very clear what I'm hoping for. Sometimes it's what you have to do!

Bought myself a DQ Valentine ice creme cake and ate half !
Network was down today and we couldn't chat !

I got some nice flowers, a teddy and some balloons from my hubby. I sent him some sweets and a fung shuei Cd so he can listen to it and relax when I work him up or when he does his Tai chi. I also bought him a small heater because his' broke down and he has been freezing.

My baby and I had phone snuggles today so that cheered me up a bit! Now don't you people with naughty minds read anything into that. It was purely snuggling ok!
