My question is to those who have already interviewed at the London Embassy for a K-3 visa. My husband's interview should be in the not too distance future (NOA2 received and waiting for packet 3). By the time he interviews, his remaining possessions in the UK need to fit in 2 checked bags and 1 carryon. So when I am there in early March I hope to bring back nonessential items. Our relationship documentation is currently with him England and it weighs a lot. Has anyone been asked to produce documentation of an ongoing relationship at their K-3 interview at the Embassy? If so, what or how much? Thanks for any insights.

My wife was interviewed yesterday and was only asked for the usual certificates and affidavit of support. The interviewer did not ask for any evidence of relationship. BUT that probably varies from interviewer to interviewer. My wife was prepared with a LOT of evidential documents in case.

I went for my K-3 interview last week, and wasn't asked to bring anything like that.

The check list informed me to bring:

Passport
DS-230 part 2
Birth certificate
Marriage certificte
Police certificate
50 x 50cm photos x2

I did bring a copy of the affidavit of support form which had already been approved at the NVC, but they didn't ask to see that.

I would err on the side of caution and bring some back up documentation just in case. You don't want to bring most of it back here & then be interviewed by a pissy CO who asks for something your hubby doesn't have.

At the same time, I wouldn't bring too much so that your hubby is bogged down under a mountain of superfluous evidence.

What kind of evidence are you talking about?

Thanks for comments. I think I will leave him some things to bring to interview but he probably does not need everything we have ... emails, photos, travel documentation, wedding documentation, etc. I lived in England for 7 months and my passport supports this so I think it would be difficult to question our relationship. I also have UK bank statements for an account in my name showing spending in the area where we were living.
