I am getting ready to file the 2006 taxes - Married filing jointly....

I have to attach the photocopy of my husband's passport which should be notarized...

Does anyone know if I can only get this notarized from US embassy in delhi or from any Notary Public office?

Are you in New Delhi? If so you should be able to easily find a notary. We used a guy in Nehru place several times. I can't remember his name but he's directly across from a copy shop. They are practically a dime a dozen there. It's not always easy to get into the Embassy there but you may want to try to contact American Citzen Services and see if this is something they do.
