Has anybody from Nigeria obtained a travel visa to France? If so, I would appreciate any advice on how to obtain one (so my SO and I can spend a week together in Paris-the city of LOVE).

it depends on your visa status, if you a US citizen you don't need a visa to enter france, but if you have a green card you would need to apply for france visa via their nearest embassy to the state where you live.

I'm talking about a Nigerian Citizen who lives in Nigeria right now. Does anybody have any information on getting a travel visa to France for a Nigerian Citizen living in Nigeria???

he or she will have to apply for visiting visa at france embassy in nigeria, American citizen with american passport do not need visa to enter france.
