First of all, congratulations on your visa!!

My mothers interview is coming up quickly (March 9) and now she is starting to worry a little about the interview!
I was wondering if you or anybody could tell me what to expect and what questions they asked you?

sorry not to have replied earlier but things are now getting hectic with only a few days to go. First of all tell your mom not to worry at all, it really is a doddle, basically all they asked me about was my grandkids, just general chatter, was I retiring out there (don't I wish) or was I going to work. As long as all your paperwork is in order it is easy, not like we have to prove our relationship like fiances do

good luck to your mom, but please tell her to try and relax about it, the worse thing is the queue outside and the waiting

I will let her know and she, I'm sure, will be relieved!! I told her that she should be fine, and that she doesn't really have anything to prove.
It's the unknown that worries her. I told her that she'll get more hassle with the kids not leaving her alone than she will by the immigration!!
