We filed our I-751 in early November and received a Receipt Notice (I-797) in late December. We had paid the $205 fee but only recently realized that we didn't send the $75 fingerprinting fee!!! Prior to realizing this we were called for fingerprinting and that went through fine.

Now we don't know what to do. Should we send another check? Should we call them to check on it? Should we wait and see what happens??

No worries. The new fee was added around Dec 06. People who filed prior to that haven't been asked to pay the biometric fee.

If you already went for Biometrics, don't worry about it. If you don't receive a request for payment, don't worry about it. Believe me, if they want money from you, you'll find out! Good luck!

Thanks for the responses. A co-worker of mine who filed in early January told me about that fee and we got very worried. I dug through our paperwork and found the instructions and the fee is not listed so it appears you are right!!
