To the members of the forum...

Now that the boards are refreshed anew... be have a unique chance to tailor the board by placing some pinned posts that could get rid of a lot of the FAQ type questions that we seem to get all of the time. Those of you have have been involved for some time know that those are... However, we need to organize them...

We need to decide what topics should be addressed, where they should be placed and who should write them. After the topics have been written, I suggest that the be placed on this forum to be peer reviewed and then after the first peer review then placed on the apropriate forum to be peer reviewed again in front of a larger audience.

So let's get the conversation started... Let's start by what topics people think should be addressed in a pinned thread and what the FAQ's are...

Good idea..I noticed a question asked many many times is......."can we visit the US while going through the visa process?"......well there was a realy good thread about this, with lots of input from a member of VJ who is actualy a Home land security officer , this topic should be pinned as many people mentioned at the time!!

If you can find the thread and recreate it (place a link to the old one) I will pin it.

This is the search response I got:
mySQL query error: SELECT p.pid FROM ibf_posts p WHERE p.forum_id IN (110) AND p.queued <> 1 AND p.author_id IN ('1552') AND MATCH(post) AGAINST ('visit border agent' IN BOOLEAN MODE)

mySQL error: Got error 127 from table handler
mySQL error code:

Seems the thread you are trying to look at on the old forums was corrupted (was why I did a new install of the forums and did not carry over old posts).

Well that's a damn shame. If you have any access to a clean version of it, or can email me the text, I'll give reformatting it a whack.

Oh... and the member that you refer to euro is yours truly... just had a name change... It was my intention to address that subject as my contribution. I just wanted to control the content a little better than in that thread.

And there are various reason what I and others specifically did not want pinned because some informationm in it may have given some people the wrong idea. It was my intention to address that subject as my contribution. I just wanted to control the content a little better than in that thread.

So come on now... let's start lining up people to address some FAQ's.

AP Issues

Employment Authorization and EAD Issues

Anything Additional?
Kajikit
