I've noticed on some peoples' lists of what they've included, they've mentioned a copy of their drivers license and/or passport.
Is this what most people are doing? It does not include these on the instructions list.

I didn't include the driver's licence but I did slip in a copy of my passport pages containing the K-1 Visa and the I-551 stamp.

Could I just ask why? Did this used to be required?

I don't think it is required, but its a quick way of providing background to your case. We moved state after getting AOS, so as its going to a completely different service center, I thought it prudent to include it.

I did not send a copy of my driver's licence, but did send copies of my passport and Permanent Resident Card.

Good luck for a speedy approval. I've been waiting for my approval since last September from Nebraska.
