my husband is pretty boring when it comes to fun foods. He doesn't care much for sweets so our "indulging" consists of zait, zaatar, zaitoon and pita bread, bisser or any nut mix, ...well that is about it... lol... any advice for other snacks for my "non-sweets loving" husband

my husband and i travelled back to the states together to detroit...there waiting was my friend from melb who had been in canada for a few weeks...we all travelled home together talked and talked ...went to krogers for something to eat cos there wasnt anything in the freezer lol cooked ate showered bed by prob 4am lol

then the next day was everyone arriving to help with the wedding ...our friend stayed 2 weeks ..then we started our lives together ...was a hectic time but we slept and got over it all...

Meh, from my experience, the first few days aren't romantic, they're both lethargic and hectic. Any romantic plans are thrown out the window when the husband crashes and burns after a long trip. Then it's mad running around getting him aquainted.

For those whose So's don't like sweets.. one things I found my Dh really loved was tacos!!!! And homemade tacos are sooo easy and quick. Check out the shells you use to make sure they don't contain lard (most shells are not halal, I buy vegan ones to just get out of it) and away you go!

Green-Eyed...based on the advice you gave Rahma the other day on proper adab, do you think you are following the same right now when continuing to discuss your sex toys? I would say that is very high on the list of lack of adab. I realize you have stated earlier that just because you have one doesn't mean you use it, but I would like to remind you that there is only one use for such a thing. There is no alternative use for it, therefore discussing it in a public forum is a lack of adab. If you want to talk about it then please by all means continue, but don't call others out about adab when you can practice what you preach I just want to add I don't really have a problem with anyone here discussing it even though I think its too personal, my problem is with those who discuss such things and then call others out for being disrespectful.

My Dh is an insomniac. He only sleeps when i am with him, which is really strange to me? I love sleeping! LOL! But he has these unbelievable powers of staying awake, and so as much as I try to tell him he will be tired and I will plan something better for the second day, he keeps insisting we have GREAT! PLANS! FOR! DAY! ONE! Sigh.

My husband is an insomniac!! I think a 24 hour flight will be his sudden cure. thats why I was thinking of just working and allow him rest. although the day will go pretty slow. I at least wanted him to pretend to sleep til I got home. I could even work part of my shift. then I would take the next few days off- being his FREAK!

I don't know about you, but my husband has never been on a plane. I don't know if he'll be able to relax or get any sleep during the flight. My plan is to meet him at the POE and go to a full service hotel or a B&B.
