WOW: I just finished speaking with my congress man's assist who handles the visa service request.
She was actually trying to tell me that Vermont never got K-1s done faster than 6 months in the 4 years she has been working at her job.
She would not even look up Receipt numbers on the USCIS web sight, where I could show her they were done more quickly.
Then when I was speaking to her that USCIS had lost my original file she actually said, what is the big deal it is only an extra month.
My original request was simply that USCIS answer the question if they are going of my first or 2nd receipt date. She said, well I helped you because I sent in a request, even though the request had been in the 2nd filing, and she gave me no new information.
Have a request in for speaking to her boss, will see how that works.
