If your husband does not have a SSN, he can apply for an ITIN (individual taxpayer identification number) to use on your taxes (we did that last year)... all you have to do is file a W7 (i think..t aht's what it was last year) with your taxes, and then you can file as soon as you want.. but yeah, if he is going to get a SSN in the near future, you should wait for that since it will make things easier next year as well.. (couldnt efile this year since my numbers didn't match)
thanks for the information, he does have a ss# so i filed the taxes over the weekend (one more thing out of the way!!)
