The consulate told my wife that the case is approved once I provide more documentation for affidavit of support, basically asking for 2006 taxes which I am filing right now. They have kept all documentation and her passport, is this a promising sign that they will stamp the visa?

She had CR1 or K3 interview? Did you filled I-864 or I-134? Because I-134 you are not required to submit tax returns unless something have change and i like to know and assuming most other people need information from you.

Please provide us little detail if possible. You are form Baltimore (MD) I am in Virginia). Maybe we can talk or send me email at takram2000@yahoo.com

Looking forward to hear back from you soon.

Certainly, I'll shoot you an email, it was I-134 and they did require the previous tax year's tax return not the w-2s. I put her whole packet 3 together so you can ask me anything smile.gif. I'll shoot you an email right now. I think her case is approved personally with no AR since they kept the passport.

BTW I filed K3 for her.
