The spa was...ok. Nothing impressive and I woudn't reccomend it. It was not what we expected at all, it was more like a spa to go.

Not the spas, I recently went for wine tasting on the train. That was alot of fun! Do you have any places to reccomend? We decided that would be our next stop.

No, I never have been, at least not for that. If I had some spare money sitting around I'd be more than happy to try some places out.

I do know of a place that all the "stars" go to up that way, but I'd have to get the name from my boss. I assume it's expensive.

Yeah it's slightly more expensive than my area, but I just love being in Napa. Wine tasting is so much fun, the train is great. The train is pretty expensive, ends up being about $100 pp with the meal. But if you just go for wine tasting thats pretty inexpensive.

I've heard the wine train is fun but I've never been on it. I did go wine tasting about.... 13 years ago?? Something like that. Guess I won't be doing that again anytime soon.

But it would be nice to go up and shop around and have lunch.

That's probably better than the actual coffee I'm drinking. You know how I said they switched coffee at my work? Well, the first day it was great! But now they're making it again just like before - hot water with hint of coffee flavor. Darn cheapskates!!!

I don't think so. They make the coffee in the cafeteria for the entire company. I can just see myself taking the elevator up and down every 10 minutes to brew - don't think my boss would like that!
I may try to figure out who I can complain to though.... I do feel bad complaining since it's free. Well, officially complaining I mean, not complaining to you guys, LOL.

Can you find someone to stage a conversation with in front of the cafeteria people? About how the coffe is weak etc?
I noticed lately that I am using exclamation marks all the time (here and other places). I think it's from posting here and all the congratulations that we give for everyone. All of a sudden I feel like I need to use them for everything.
Anyone else notice they do or did this?

Funny you say that. When I was in high school and college, all the papers I turned in had this super high amount of exclamation marks. Where a period should have been there was an exclamation mark instead. I finally learned to lighten up on it's use, but still every one in a while I will still over do it.

I don't know about you all, but its BITTER cold here. Took winter this long to catch us. I've already downed about 3 cups of coffee and am actually productive for the time being. I am hoping that folks didn't misunderstand comments I made in another thread which shall remain nameless last night. I was not in any way shape or form supporting unscrupulous individuals. BUT I don't want to open that can-o-worms again. I just don't want anyone to misunderstand.
Moh is on his bike again this morning heading to work. Wind chill is 6. I tried to give him cab fare last night but he won't accept it. He said, "Don't worry. I'll get there." Yeah. Egyptian popsicle. He's trying so hard. I just wish the weather would cut him a break. Three inches of snow tomorrow. I'm hoping they don't schedule him.
Hope everyone is coffee'd up and keepin warm.

I went to the doc on Monday night. He told me that I aopparently had the flu only for saturday night. It was probably a strand that I had already had and that's why it was so short. But he didn't have an explanation for the random 100 temp with vomit on thursday. I woke up this morning feeling like I had a huge rat stuck in my throat. My throat is so sore and it hurts when I swallow or yawn. Don't understand that, but I am blaming everything on my biotchy co-worker. She apparently has had a cold for 3 weeks now. Ahhhhhhh! I can't take a cold or anything to Morocco! I have to be healthy! Good thing she is goign to be in Jamaica all night week. Finally a break from her. I don't know what the heck she is doing over at her station, but all morning she has waited on 3 customers while I have waited on 25 so far. I think she does it on purpose. She doesn't do anything, and she moves my stuff for her on convience and she is always late for work, and she's a crabby woman of 35! And the worst thing, she's going through the visa process and has been going through it for 3 years and her husband still isn't here and my husband already has his residency card. I think that's why she's bitter toward me too. Anyway, Other than still feeling a little congested, and a little crabby, I am better. Thanks Melly.

We have the coffee pods here so the coffee is however you want it and whatever flavor pod you pick. There's a pretty good selection. My favorite is eggnog.

The job I may be taking has the same thing too so that's cool. They also have a candy shop on the first floor!!!!

Sent the I130 certified mail this morning so it's official. I think I'm going to stick with that since we have a delay on our end so there's really no reason to attempt to speed up the process by filing the K-3. The delay will be once we need to fill out the D 230 (i think that's the name of it) so I'd rather have the delay be at the NVC instead of having the Cairo embassy waiting on it.
Have a good one!

Oh before I forget...Jenn and anyone else in the New England area...what's the best ski resort for a couple of first time skier kids to start out at near North Conway, NH? I'm definitely taking them Feb vacation if I get this job and one of them is scared so I want the experience to be a nice one so she'll wanna go back.

So, Minneapolis is connected by this skyway system, so you can walk through most of downtown on the second floor without having to go outside.
My building is right next to Macy's, so I walk through it at least once a day. Temptation is eeeevil! Thankfully, I managed to only buy sales items today - pjs and a bathrobe for my husband at like 85% off, and a new handbage for me at 70% off.
