its sounds like that ''new law'' its not the same for everybody...

[b]Is it fair that those people who received their cr1/ir visa from overseas embassies after july 27 2006 and before 23 jan 07 should be EXEMPT from the law

Please don't cross post--it's hard enough to keep a logical conversation going.

And please post facts. No one yet knwos what will become of those already admitted on visas issued from post 7/27/06 Consular-filed I-130s

I am very confused because it seems some people are being exempt from this new law. Is it fair to say that anyone who filled out the DCF I-130 form between July 27,2006 and January 23,2007 and get an final interview before january23, 2007 should not be allowed to enter the US according to the law.
Should those people who received their visa cr1/ir when their petitions was aproved after 27 july 2007 and got the visa before january 23, 2007 during this time frame be deported.
I would really like to hear other peoples opionon about this.

All that mess is very confusing

Life is never fair. If you spend your time looking for inequities in life, you will always be sure to find some. Finding them and dwelling on them will not improve your life or your position.

Perhaps slow down and do some reading; your questions may have already been answered, or you may discover context for some of the things you've heard up to now. Posting the same question many times doesn't increase your chance of an answer as there are a limited number of people who are even concerned with this topic.

Here is the answer to my concern about 'what if' for those cases where a visa was issued on a post 7/27 Consular I-130: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showpost.ph...amp;postcount=6

If you are not one of these people, don't worry about what happens to them. The world isn't always perfectly fair day to day, but everything balances out. Maybe find out where your I-130 will go (Vienna? Rome?) and follow the USCIS instructions from that office.

I agree with Meauxna -- read through the (LONG) discussion called "Embassy's will no longer accept I-130" (in the DCF forum.) It's true that the whole situation is unfair and exasperating -- and we'll just have to wait a bit for answers.
