Has anybody with Depression taken the medical for the CR-1/IR-1 Visa ?...
I dont have depression now.. but I had a couple of depressive episodes about 5, 6, 8 years back.. it was basically due to personnal stuff going on in my life to do with a past girlfriend.. and I just felt low and was given anti depressants..
Do you think that this will cause me to fail my medical ?

I don't think so. Something like that is treatable. They didn't ask me one question about my mental health at my medical.

I honestly have no clue, but my DR asked if I had sufferedf form depression, or was ever suicidal. Was just yes/no type answers.

I too was a little concerned about this, as I have had depressive episodes myself in the past, which were circumstantial.
I was wandering if it would hurt at all to have my doctor write a letter to indicate that all is well now to take along to the medical?
Best of luck with yours
