JANE DOE
c/o JOHN SMITH
1234 MAIN ST
CAGAYAN DE ORO
PHILIPPINES 9000
The "c/o" is not allowed on the new automated DS156 form because of the '/' character. I could probably just drop that line, but then it won't match the I-129F form where I had no problem with the "c/o" line. Or instead of "c/o JOHN SMITH" I could just use "(in care of) JOHN SMITH" or "c o JOHN SMITH" or "c.o. JOHN SMITH".
Does the DS156 address need to match the I129F form address exactly? What is this address on the DS156 used for?
Has anyone run into this before? What did you do?
Got any other ideas?
