We met online, in a cancer support group online. Not a typical chatroom, but nothing at all wrong with chatrooms

we met online in a MSN chatroom. The chatroom's name was Soft and Gentle (it was named after the nicknames of the two people who created the room, Soft Southern and Gentle Giant)

both of us had only started the chatting thing about a month or so before we met because we were bored....

That was one of the first chatrooms he found too and for me it was about the 3rd one I tried.. the other 2 were really unfriendly and I didn't stay long

I had no intention of meeting anybody outside of my area, but a friend talked me into "broadening" my area and the first person to contact me was my husband. I put him off for a long time because I did not want to have a long-distance relationship, but he won me over in time and the rest is history.

We used to go to this thing called Hub (a Guns N' Roses hub) where people could download stuff from one another (only GnR stuff) and talk at the same time.
I asked on the main chat if someone had I song I wanted and he replied we liked each other so much that we didn't even talk about the band so much that day.... we just wanted to talk about life and get to know more about each other. We traded emails and I got SO happy when I got an email from him 2 days later..... I really wanted to get an email and was almost dying to hear from him!!
He told me he had really liked me and the fact we had so much in common made him think about me a lot. And that was the first time he had felt that connection with someone

We met on life, through mutual friends. If I remember correctly, we were introduced by my best friend at her daughter's Christening! At the time, he had a girlfriend and I was also "unavailable". Looks like we fall into the minority who met gaming. We are both geeks (and proud of it) who met playing Everquest. I was a Half-elf Druid and he was a Dark-elf Necromancer We now have two systems up and play along side each other in World Of Warcraft. Funny thing is we have our brothers, my son, a few friends of ours and now even his mother playing with us! It has become a great way to spend time together across the miles!

Me an my coworker took a taxi and asked him to take us to the Farro or light house (like a monument in Salvador). the taxi driver took us to the wrong place so we sat, had something to eat and a beer. My baby was sitting at a table next to ours alone and in the hot sun so I asked her to join us under the shade. the rest is history

Met in person when I was studying in CA! We lived in the same apartment village and he came round to my apartment with his buddies and I thought he was soooooooooo hot!!
