As some of you know, I just mailed my I-751 packet yesterday morning..had it as certified mail..

Just tracked the status of the packet online..that's what it says:

We attempted to deliver your item at 10:03 AM on January 27, 2007 in LINCOLN, NE 68508 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender.

OF course it was unsuccessful...because it's a PO BOX, and nobody's going to sign for it, right?

I think I just made a mistake.. unsure.gif

I will go to the post office Monday to see if they can fix that..

Don't worry, the message you got is normal. Even though you sent to a PO box, a person has to come and take the stuff out of it. There is a notice left in that box that says they have to come to the window & sign for a letter. They get these all the time, so they know what to do. I'm sure they'll sign for it on Monday. No need to stress, everything will be ok smile.gif

Obviously someone has to pick up what is in a PO Box. Don't worry (and don't run to your post office where they will think you're a complete lunatic) because it will be picked up on Monday. The 27th was a Saturday, so no one picks up PO Box mail on that day (no government person anyway). Relax, you're in for a wait of a few months and you defintely don't want to stroke out this early in the process....
