Hello All,

Quick question may be someone knows here or may be any idea.

Situation here : If you enter in to USA from Canada on IR1 visa while you are a resident of canada. Do you think that US immigration authority report it to Canadian immigration authority?

As per as i believe they dont care. But just want to know from you guys may be some one know more in details.

Will appreciate your reply.

Thanks,

I'm guessing they don't directly report it, but they definitely share information.

You will risk losing your U.S. residency if you take any action that could be interpreted as claiming to be a resident elsewhere (such as filing resident tax return in Canada)... so I would be very careful and decide which is more important to you.
