I CAN imagine how traumatic this has been for you because my NOA2 date is Dec 14th and my petition also has yet to be sent to NVC.
I have sent emails to the director of the VSC, long snail mail letters to him as well, called USCIS hotline don't know how many times, called NVC everyday since (for goodness sake the USCIS number & NVC # are on speed dial on my phone!!)
I got one reply saying that since my NOA2 said that my petition was forwarded to the NVC, then it was sent. (Even though it wasn't)
Another reply to my inquiry said that they will update me to let me know the whereabouts of my petition.
Someone else said to file I824 to have it forwarded to the NVC, which can take up to 6 months.
Another person said that this wouldn't be necessary since my NOA2 said it was already sent.

My NOA2 date is 18th Dec 2006, yet NVC hasnt received my case. You can imagine how traumatic that has been for us this past couple of weeks. No one down there seems to know what is goin on. They keep saying it is not unusual. I dont see how that is supposed to be usual...
Oh gosh!
