The snow has FINALLY let up long enough for some of it to melt, but this has been the most relentless winter here in years, no doubt!

It's friday. yay. I'm at work. only have to work tomorrow night for a few hours. was sick yesterday with fever and stomach thing. my arm is a little swollen and still sore from the shots i got on Tuesday. Oh well. Hope everyone has a good weekend. I have a very long day today. hopefully it will go be quickly so I can get out of this place.

I am sitting here with my new laptop for work trying to figure out if I can get it setup on my own since the Dell rep hasn't called to setup a time to help me. It is a Latitude D620 . .. just a small step up from the D600 that I have been lugging around for work for the past 3 years (???) . . .hmmmm, no wonder it is some small dents and missing rubber pieces, heheh!!!

Something I noticed in Morocco...take the alcohol off the table and folks come up with some gorgeous (and yummy) fruit drinks. I'm looking at my diet Dr. Pepper and missing my fiancé's banana-apple-yogurt milkshakes Well, more than that, I'm just missing him Have a great Friday everyone.

They do the fresh fruit drinks in Cairo too . . . so yummy to get fresh squeezed/mixed concoctions. They have them in Hong Kong too so I got to try order by pointing at pix . . . lol, all the hotels and shops speak English, but the little street stands are a bit different . . . of course!

mmmmmmmmm.... all that food looks so good! we slept late this morning and just finishing a breakfast of beyssara (fava bean soup) w/ (what else, but...) bread and some mint tea & cookies. I have a slow & late starting day so I think we'll go give this bank thing another shot! Save me some couscous for later, please!
