WTF
How is it that 2 Feb CSC filers received their noa2 already?!?!?!?!?!?
See link below
http://fwaguy.250free.com/February2.htmI noticed that. How BIZARRE.
If I remember correctly, they sent their petition out Jan 10. So they probably counted when they received via snail mail their NOA1, and not the actual notice date. So therefore, USCIS probably received their petition somewhere around the 16 of Jan. Of course I am just guestimating here, but that would be my interpretation of what has happened.
i bet they were military and got expedited service...

For Jan NOA1s, I did a quick approximation of days waiting for the "NOA2 recipients" vs. those still "waiting for NOA2."
For 81 Jan NOA1s, most of those with NOA2s waited about 77-80 days, still waiting for NOA2s mostly 87-90 days.
All this is obvious what you guys have been saying: approvals came to a severe slowdown about a week to ten days ago. Que pasa, Amigos?
Sigh...

Nothing since 4/12! It really has been a week!
I keep hoping for a Nov or Dec filer who's been approved to stop by and tell us that we're being silly and that it went the same way during their approval months and we just can't tell because we're in the midst of it. But I don't think that's the case.

Apparently, they, too are only filed at California and Vermont. Funny...don't see Vermont slowing down any.

Probably shifted them all to CSC same as the K-1s. Also - they have a 15 day deadline to complete them.
See this article for infoEDIT: I think the 15 days is for the expedited service - was more skimming the article - got a bit bored half the way through with the H1B details

Still touch free for me.
Running the data (I think correctly) for today - for all those who've updated their timelines), it seems that there are 77 total K3/K1 CSC filers who got an NOA1 between 1/1 and 1/31.
13 of the 18 k3 filers - or 72% - have their NOA2s already.
20 of the 59 k1 filers - or 34% have their NOA2s.
Grand total: 43%.
Seems better than I thought.
I was just wondering since I spend all my time in the K1 forum and looking at K1 events, whether K3 people waiting for the same sorts of actions were any better off. They seem to be a bit further along.
I don't think there's much take-away. But since I'm still touchless (still hours left in the day!), why not play with numbers.

I'm all over the place on this site and the K-3 & CR-1 filers are going through the same thing as here. I've seen 2 approvals for K-3s at CSC and they were February filers which I thought was odd. But everyone else is just waiting like you guys. I had a touch today but who knows what that means.

Hi everyone,
I just discovered about VJ a short time ago, and this is my first post in this forum. I applied for the K-1 visa in January (through an attorney) to the CSC. My NOA-1 has a notice date of Jan 16. From this thread, I see that a lot of people who have applied after me have already gotten their NOA-2's. Should I be starting to get worried? Do you guys think my file is lost somewhere in the CSC?
By the way, this is an awesome site full of good information. You must be hearing this a lot from newcomers, but I wish I had discovered this a lot earlier. :-)

Only about 1/3 of January filers from CSC have NOA2. The average wait time right now is about 81 days with some much longer than that. On the bright side, there seems to be some recent activity suggesting more NOA2's are on the way. Click the link below to see some stats:
