I feel your pain, girl. By 90 days, I was expecting it anytime. Took us another month yet past that before we got ours. I sure hope you're not as unlucky as we were.

Man,
I am soo tired of constantly re-checking my case status to see not even a touch! Yes I know January has started blah, blah, blah... I am happy for those who have received their NOA2s and/or on towards their final destinations! I guess I am just tires, senioritus, I am less than one month away from graduating from ASU. How do we get through this strenuous process???? I love my man and he is certainly worth it but I can't help feeling lonely from time to time and sneaking a glance at the hot new neighbor! lmao i just can't wait to hear some good news!
GO GO GO for ALL January NOA2s!!!!!
Thanks guys, I feel better after whining! lol
Girlfriend.........what did I tell you about that? You will drive yourself crazy, you know.
I know, you were so right! I envy you for your patience and wisdom. Did you ever go nuts?
Of course I did, Sarah. I knew the process was long and complicated and I chose to check only once a week to keep my sanity. And once it heads to the embassy, you move more in Jamaican time which is much more frustrating. In the meantime, I concentrated on getting things as ready as I could and like you, I work two jobs so that always kept me busy.

Congratulations everyone!!!
I know there are a few that will be filing at the Embassy in Bucharest Romania. They will open provisional file via email with scanned copy of NOA2 and your fiances address. The fiance cannot send checklist back until embassy receives information from NVC but it helps to have it all ready.
Oh and you will find Romania on some old lists of countries where Police Certificates are unavailable. They are available and take approximately two weeks to get in Bucharest. This is for Romanians but you can usually email the embassy and find out fastest way to open provisional after NOA2.
Ok everyone have a great day.

Hello all. I have read this site on and off for a while. I signed up today just so that I could share some more information for all those waiting. I have not had time yet to fully explore this site and the timeline section. But, to let Jan. filers know, I mailed my K1 on Jan 8 (I think). It was officially recieved on Jan 12 in Nebraska. Sent to California and the last update showed 1-17-07, until 11 am EST this morning, and I now have a "touch". I now have a 4/04/07 last update page. I surely hope a NOA2 comes very soon!! I felt the need to join here simply to share the news with any other couples waiting for their "last update" to change. I know how it is so frustrating to see NO change day after day!!!

Because CSC really has no pattern to their behaviors.
Why did December people get approved weeks before me - a Nov filer? And why are some Nov filers still without NOA2?

I doubt they think anything.
I think a bunch of applications come in everyday and, per Huskerkiev's explanation, they get a file and get stuck in boxes. Boxes go on shelves. As people work through boxes, they go to get others. But it is impossible - since they are dealing with actual, hard copy files, for things to be done in exact first-come-first-served order. So there's two employees. One takes box A, the next takes box B. Say they each have 10 files. The first dude jams through Box A, files 1-10. He goes to the next box, which would be C, since dude two has Box B. Say dude two takes a sick day or is just less efficient. That means Applicant 15 (in Box

might be getting processed on the same day as applicant 27 (in Box C). So files 21-26 have been processed before dude two is done with the files that came in before that.
And that doesn't even figure in problems with files that cause them to be held back (I'm guessing some problems don't even generate RFEs, they just get resolved). So for the most part, stuff goes in order. But it can't possibly go exactly according to the calendar.
Which sucks, but that's probably reality.

require only a COPY of the NOA2. This can be scanned and emailed when it arrives. Why wait to send the remainder of what the beneficiary will need? I'm sending the package next Monday.

You should have received a green half slip if you sent your package asking for delivery confirmation and signature. This piece of paper has your tracking number on it and if you go to the website
www.usps.com and click on the link for tracking packages, and enter your package number and if it has been at least a day, you should have some information as to where it is at and at what time etc. You will get confirmation in the mail too. Hope that helps!

If you are going to send Tax return information - you'll have to send the Tax Return you filed (IRS/1040, EZ or whatever) and the W-2s and/or 1099s etc (whatever you used for your individual return)... as supporting documents.
The IRS transcripts (which can be ordered from the IRS) on the other hand, don't have to have the attached supporting documents (because that information is part of the transcript) - that's essentially the difference between the two.

Someone asked in a separate thread about Good Friday. It's not a federal holiday, like TracyTN points out.
Here's a list of Federal Holidays:
http://www.opm.gov/fedhol/2007.aspSome countries - like the UK - observe today as a national holiday. Here, only Christmas, and I suppose, arguably, Thanksgiving, kindasorta, are holidays that have a religious crossover. Otherwise, we go with the church-state separation thing and don't give other holidays off.
(Though some schools in various areas of particular religious concentrations might find ways to have days off when many children would be out anyway - like some Jewish holy days and some school districts schedule their spring breaks around Easter weekend, etc.)
I suppose its possible some more employees than usual might take today off, since its a holiday weekend or school break weekend/week. But the government is technically open for business as usual.

They're out for spring break because that's when the school district and/or state decided to give the break. They didn't give it FOR Good Friday, I assure you. Clever timing? Yes. But common in areas where there's a concentration of any particular religion. Schools often schedule days off for breaks or whatever else on days when students might be absent anyway for family holidays or religious celebrations (like Jewish holy days or around Easter for Christians, etc).

Hello All January Filers
I got my NOA2 today as well................Checked 9:00AM this morning, still no touch since January NOA1, came back at 10:30 and my email had three messages from USCIS..
Approval Notice Sent.....
Actually they said it was mailed yesterday, but they sent email and changed online status today.
There is light at the end of this tunnel...
Never had a single "touch" update to online account.
Good Luck all and hold in there...
