My fiancee's interview passed, and she was approved! She's booked tickets for August 22nd (the first available flight ) and should be here on time for the Sept. 1st wedding.

We haven't had time to visit VJ much, moving, wedding plans, her English lessons, my prep for Sept classes, health insurance, so on. Monday, we went to the local social insecurity office to file Tania's app. The form is short and the procedure was very simple.

Wedding scheduled for September 7.

Anya and I finally made it through the JFK mess and arrived safely at LAX around Midnight Monday.
We have already been to the beach and several other places.

Congratulations to Dan&Tiffany and all! I've missed the efriends from VJ I was dependent on for support when I was blind in this process.

Wednesday, Tania and I will begin a two day move 50 miles away to the university I'll be attending for the next few years. Friday, I have a pre-surgery workup to correct some "issues."

I begin classes September 4, Tania begins english classes Sept 10.

We've been unbelievably busy, where does the time go?

Hello to my January buddies! I too have been busy preparing for the moment when Marlon will be here. Don't know when that will be as Jamaica got a bit of a pounding from Hurricane Dean this weekend, I have yet to hear from Marlon but I am staying positive!

I am sure he is just fine Sarah, but I would be worried if Rich was anywhere near a hurricane too! When do you think he will be able to get over here?

I did talk to him today, he's fine but his area got hit bad. It may be a couple weeks to a month before he can come home to me! Thank God he is okay! I have waited this long, what is a little more time?

Its so crazy to read this forum now. Now that most of us have our honey's here with us, January seems so long ago! But the wait was horrible while going through it. I'm so happy for all of us!!!

No wedding yet -- my guy had to wait for his company to be sold, and then he had to give 90 DAYS notice! So his last day at work is Dec. 21.

He'll be over in January.

Wow. We have all come such a long way since January, wouldn't you all agree? Too bad we all couldn't meet in person or something! Marlon and I have not filed for AOS & EAD yet but we shall soon. Everything is great and as soon as I get my wedding photo disc I will post photos!
