My I-129f was touched May 10 and again May 11. The only information I've been able to get from USCIS' 800 number is no RFEs, and NVC says they do not have my file.

What is CSC's RFE line??

Well our last touch was on May 4th, and today my fiance got the packet from his embassy. I still havnt gotten the NOA2 in the mail. :S Could it just be late?

A bunch of early May approvals haven't received NOA2 hard copies yet. I don't have mine either and we're waiting on packet 3 now.

I've done the same many times in weeks past. Their answer is always the same: "Received at CSC Jan 26. Address change Jan 30th. Application pending." I also asked about RFEs I may not have been notified of, and if our application has been seent to NVC. The reply is the same: "No RFE, and your application is still at CSC."

Finally some movement on my case! I received 2 emails from CRIS stating that my RFE was received today and my last updated date changed to today! OMG, here's hoping for my NOA2! I did send my RFE info certified mail today but hey, never can be too careful right? Thank God and thanks to my VJ buddies!

You should get your NOA2 today or tomorrow, but since CSC is stupid a$% %*&%^(%. You will probably receive it in the mail before they update their site or email you.

All in all, GREAT to see that you are finally getting some progress.

Wow, it's great to see that people are getting NOA2s already... I was checking in since I hadn't received mine yet, but it looks like CSC is simply being really slow. At least I know it's not just my case that's being held up / rejected / inspected / whatever. I'll keep on hoping that all of us will get NOA2 soon

No RFE, no mailings, nada, nichee-voh, nool, non.

If I pushed the service rep a bit, I'd be reminded they are working on the October I-129fs, so I have a few months to wait.

That really ticks me off George. There is no good reason why you are still waiting! How could it hurt to give somebody some information on their case? This whole system needs to be fixed.

The service rep estimated it was actually sent about May 14, 10 days ago!
No indication of this from USCIS/CSC

When you call customer service, follow the prompts for request for more evidence. You dont want to get customer service at their call center because they can't tell you anything. I just said I had been touched 2 times and not heard anything for 2 weeks and was concerned about an RFE. The guy told me I'd been approved.

When you call customer service, follow the prompts for request for more evidence. You dont want to get customer service at their call center because they can't tell you anything. I just said I had been touched 2 times and not heard anything for 2 weeks and was concerned about an RFE. The guy told me I'd been approved.

Here are the prompts I follow from start to finish on the automated system. I wrote them down this morning. This is how I get an officer at CSC: 1,2,2,4,2,1(of which you type in your receipt #, 1,1. I'm sure I wrote it down right, that should get you to an officer. Of course once you get there, there is no guarantees you won't get the same customer service answer!!! I called today, and they don't even have me in the system for receiving my rfe, which was delivered a week ago.

w00t!!!!! I got my NOA2 today! It said my application has been approved and forwarded to the national visa center, and then will be forwarded to Singapore.

You may be able to get information regarding your case status using the method of KenGumbo and JenandBarney and the others. I think I made a mistake of not getting to the RFE guys via voice-mail. Because the NVC received my application yesterday, I will try the RFE method tomorrow and see if they are aware of my NOA2/approval.

That sounds correct to me. My first touch since a change of address Jan 30 was May 10. Then touched again May 11. I bet the first touch on the 10th was the review, the 11th was approval and it was then sent to NVC. USCIS has not updated their info system is all.

Congrats! I got my NVC letter today as well. You will need the hard copy of the NOA2 for AOS, so if you dont have it around 30 days after they approved you, then call and make them send you the paper copy.
