I dunno, the fire making the news is in Griffin Park. Maybe mapquest using the office's address and "Griffin Park" will give some idea.

Oops... I think it's "Griffith Park," not Griffin.

They are VERY FAR APART guys - one is in Los Angeles County - and toward the northern side of it (well, north of downtown LA) and the CSC is in deep Orange County.

They aren't near each other and it isn't a big enough fire to derail all happenings all over SoCal.

What's up? Last Thursday there were like 20 approvals and none (at least in this thread) today. Hopefully tomorrow. (sigh) This is taking forever.

I have a question.. I know each case varies but why is that some gets two or three touches in a row and others just one? I'm just curious.

I don't think there's a consensus on why that happens. It just does. Some get two touches. Some get 5. Some get one.

And some people get NO touches at all. Just an NOA2 email.

Some get no touch, no email, and just the NOA2 via the snail mail.

And some get a touch, no email, and then the snail mail.

It drives everyone nuts!

Yeap...we even started making up songs...

So I finally received news via snail mail from USCIS, it's an RFE. Not a big deal though, they are requesting Marlon's divorce decree that I had already submitted. I will pop it in the mail tomorrow. I called Marlon and of course he HAD to ask me if I submitted it with the petition and I was like yes I did! lol I had to explain to him that sometimes they ask for documents that they already have. I'm just glad I finally heard something! lol I was a tad bit disappointed but hey, that's all they asked for! I won't let it ruin my big day today!

Bummer, FutureMrs, but you have the best attitude! I would be so annoyed if they asked for something I'd already sent. Congrats on your graduation day:)

After you have waited so long, the extra few days will go fast! From what I've seen here, approval follows a couple days after a satisfied RFE!
