MBP - Got a date set yet?
Well- our plans are a bit usual for most people here. Texas requires a 3 day waiting period so we will be married within the first 5 working days of his arrival in the courthouse. Then AOS paperwork will get started. No one is invited. We re not announcing ourselves as married. It's just the legal thing USCIS forces us to do.
Then after Idir as been here a little while, settled in, gotten to know my friends, made some friends of his own, we wil have a wedding party. Maybe April or May- I have a couple of friends getting married and of course can;t step on those toes- esp since one has become a full blown bridezilla and our guest list is similar.
At this wedding party we will not exchange any vows, but will sign a wedding contract, have food, a traditional american style. cake, music, dancing. a mix of both cultures.
I do want to register our marriage in Morocco rather than do allthe running around it takes to get married there, so we may end up at the Mosqe for the marriage too LOL I have to look into that.
When we return to Morocco, we will throw a small party for family and close friends- but not a traditional Moroccan blow out wedding.
maybe that was more than you asked for JP?

I'm too tired for coffee. I am going to need a new time zone to keep up with the nightly chats

Going to pack my girl's lunch, wait for my friend to come pick her up who is driving today, and go back to bed

I simply can't imagine why you are so tired this morning?
