Mrs.J06
I hope the Malaysians on this forum can give me some advice about an upcoming trip to Malaysia (in March).

My husband has to visit customers in Kuching, and I'm allowed to come with, so we decided to add a few days (up to a week) and go someplace else in Malaysia. (can't wait) kicking.gif

I would like to go snorkelling for a few days. We have both seen KL already, so that's not the top priority. I have heard that there are some very nice areas on the northern coast of Borneo, but I'm not sure where exactly. Sabah maybe?

We spent three days in a lake/longhouse resort about 5 hours from Kuching last time and it was just GORGEOUS! This time we would like to see something different.

Any ideas? Any opinion is appreciated! Thanks!

Hey Carla,
I just read your post today. I am from Sabah, Malaysia but have been residing in Texas, USA for almost two years now. Oh, how I miss my family, friends and of course the food. sad.gif . My American husband David is really such a wonderful person and I do love it here too. Anyway, you might want to consider visiting Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We have so many beautiful islands there namely Manukan Island, Sapi Island, Mamutik Island... just to name a few. Don't miss a trip to the breathtaking National Park which is situated at the foot of Mount Kinabalu (the highest mountain in South East Asia). Here's a website that you can visit www.sabahtourism.com and might be of help to you. Hope this help. I wish you and your husband a pleasant and safe trip to Malaysia Carla. Hope both of you will have a memorable and enjoyable trip. Take care.
