Happy Wednesday! Yay for Wednesdays! Only two more work days till a great weekend! Which means only 3 weeks and 2 days til I leave for Morocco!

I'm here. Talked to my old boss yesterday and she heard through the grapevine that I'm thinking of taking the job. I really have to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

Nothing much going on here. Not too cold I don't think. Just sittin' here bein' all bored n stuff.

Woke up to a lovely wet snow that was melting on the pavement, but big fluffy flakes. The perfect kind. We're back to the social security office this afternoon. This time to change my name since we now have our marriage certificate. Then home or wherever else we decide to wander.

Slow day here today.

There are 3 of us here at work who are in the customer service department. The young girl who irritates me no end is leaving and her last day is Friday.
It looks like until they hire someone, and even after, that I will be getting some overtime in. I loooove overtime as the pay is awesome! I already figured I would put the money towards a trip to Egypt while waiting for visa insha'Allah.

Today is my flex day for the week. However, I seem to be busier than if I were at work. Daughter had an early doctor appointment in a neighboring town, get her home and fed, too late to go to school. Next, I have to go get a physical. In between do the laundry, figure out dinner, yadda, yadda, yadda. I think I like it better when I work.

I did the same thing trying to lose some extra baggage before I went to see my hubby for new years. I put on so much over thanksgiving and christmas. I just majorly cut back on my food intake. I tried to keep the portions of food to the size of my hands and I would not eat late before bed time. I cut back on lots of sugar even fruit because it has lots of sugar and I cut back on the carbs. I tried to stick to more protein things. I did stock up on sugar free jello to help with the sugar cravings when I had them. I have seen some VJrs say that they have tired the atkins or the south beach diet. Maybe you can ask about the results for these two types of diets. It would be good to know about different sucess stories with both of the diets to comapre results.

Errrm hey hey my moms name is Maria and my dads name is Gudalupe and my brothers name is Jose and before any onesays it yes we also have a Jesus and Josue in my family too. LOL ! I happen to like thoes names

Well, I wish it wasn't necessary that I have to buy a new one . . . I was planning on keeping the 5 1/2 year old 9-3 for another few years and I had just paid it off. But when it came down to it, the incentives on the 2006 plus my insurance made me think twice about buying a used car. . . because I could get the new one for just a bit more . . . without the headaches the a 3-4 year old used car might have. So once again . . . I went crazy, hehe!! That's what my brother always thinks about me and my buying of NEW new cars.

Ok this whole name change thing is the PITS. I got my name changed at social security this afternoon. Mohammed's number hasn't even been issued yet. My bank tells me they won't even change my name, much less add Moh until we have our cards AND my driver's license is changed. I couldn't change my license today because the SSN change isn't going to register in the computer for 48 hours... SOOOOOOOOOOOOO another stupid week down the tubes. I really need to get AOS filed!!!!

On a lighter note, Mohammed has a job! He starts Saturday morning. He is so happy there is just no livng with him right now. Its not far from the house so that's a plus for us right now. I have to admit it feels good to know we're beginning to finally get this life a-movin in the right direction. Another reason to get AOS (and EAD) filed as soon as possible. He has his temporary authorization but the clock is ticking...

Any ideas on how he'll cash a paycheck before this whole bank account crap is straightened out??? asdlkfja lskdjfa;sdkjfasdf bureaucracy poop.

Geez it's been a decade since I changed my name but I don't remember having to wait for anything to hit a computer system when i changed my license. Didn't SS give you some paperwork as proof?

I had no problem changing *my* name w/ the marriage license but the bank wouldn't let me put him on the acct til he had more documentation *at one branch*, then another branch said "no problem" w/ marriage license, etc. We can't even get him ID from DMV until we have at least an AOS reciept . Poor guy... he's getting bored not being able to work *and* it's raining so much he can't get out alot and can't do yardwork cuz it's so dang wet!!!

Thanks everyone . . . I am liking my new ride just fine right now! Evening rush hour coming up soon . . . I want to put up one of the signs on the back of the car that says "BACK OFF!" . . . because I end up driving thru at least 10 miles of the trip with traffic going at a snail's pace so there are always ppl trying to gain as many inches as possible over the guy in the next lane.

FYI, I am almost over my jitters from the accident . . . dry weather helps too! I hate that "white knuckled" feeling that I was getting when I had to drive over icy roads last week. I was trying to re-assure myself that at least it wasn't my new car . . . just the rental that might get wrecked.

Hmmm, I guess you don't have any indoor painting projects to get done??? What about a new floor in the bathroom? or new wallpaper?? hehe . . . all things on my to-do list . . . you can send Said up to Dallas to help me out!

hehehe I been out of commission so to speak. I been busy with this huge freaking house and now we have two cats lulu and sami and my kid's dog and now they are all traumatized by each other Oh and anmar said to add our fish we had 4 but two died cuz i think we overfed them. Never a dull moment in this house I don't even have time to come online anymore but i get to read vj at work. About the other thing lets just say I am huge as a house. hehehe
