Hello guys,

Our K1 case has been approved and approval notice was mailed to my fiance in the US since september. But due to some bottlenecks(SOME PERSONAL PROBLEMS), we could not continue. And now we still have to wait to sort things out before we can continue. My question is that is there a limit to how long we can delay the process....so that we can sort things out? And what is the implication afterall.

I believe the NOA2 is valid for 4 months.

Was your case forwarded to the NVC and did you receive Packet 3 from the consulate where you will be interviewed?

The approval is good for 4 months. Some consulates extend it automatically if the case is there, but it is up to the consulate in Nigeria to decide to extend it or not. If you haven't replied to your packet 3, they'll probably cancel the approval.
