Hi everybody ,

I am sure somebody asked this already. But i couldn't find it in the previous posts. I am going to send NVC my 03, 04 , 05 taxes and copy of my w-2 for my 06 income since i haven't filed the tax returns for this year yet. Would that be a problem?

I don't think that should be an issue.. I sent tax transcripts for 03 04 and 05.. I didn't send them a W2 for 06 since I have not received my W2 just yet.. but did sent my last 3 months of pay stubs..

NVC has not finished reviewing it yet.. so I can't be certain that it won't be an issue..

In the end, from my understanding, when your spouse goes for the interview, you can submit the additional tax information for 2006 if needs be.

Also, just looking at your time line, it seems to me that it'll probably be about mid to late Feb before you need to send your AOS information to NVC.. I would suggest, if you can, to submit your tax's before that time, so you can submit that for your AOS and be confident that it will not be an issue.

Good luck

No it will not be a problem. You just send the last 3 you have because you haven't filled yet. The employer letter lets them know how much you are made in 2006.

BelwinMills,

The employer letter is supposed to tell how much one is making now, not how much they made last year.

If it does not (or even if it does) use pay statements as evidence of current income from employment.
