Hi, I got very confused by this.

I don't have anything to do with the I-140.

I'm adjusting status after getting married on a K1 Visa.

I'm applying for the EAD at the same time I'll be sending my I-485 form.

1 - Where should I send this to?
2 - Can I mail the EAD in the same envelope?
3 - Can I write just one check for all the fees?

Thanks!

You send both applications to the Chicago address, unless you are in one of three jurisdictions as indicated on the USCIS website (under Immigration Forms) for Form I-485.

You can mail both applications together in the same envelope.

You should make separate checks out for both applications (don't forget to include the $70.00 biometrics fee).

Thanks a lot!

So if I live in New York I send this to Chicago, not Vermont, right?

Also, do I need to send 4 photos (2 for the I485 and 2 for the EAD) or only 2?

Thank you so much

You can include the different applications in the same envelope but treat them as two separate applications. If they both call for photographs include photographs in both. The applications are separated and sent to different areas for adjudication so need to be complete all on their own. Good luck.
