I still haven't sent in my I-751 whistling.gif

I have most of it together, I just have to make some photocopies of some stuff....

These past couple of months have been kind of difficult and I am not looking forward to jumping back in bed with the USCIS or whatever it is called tongue.gif

I have until April 2nd, 2007 to mail it in and I will do it within the next week or so whistling.gif

You'll feel so much better when it's all done and mailed off. Then, it's just a matter of it being yet another waiting game.

My I-751 was last touched on October 19th.... and I haven't heard a thing from them since!!!!!

I WILL be so glad when this is all over!!!!

Kez/JWolf
Sooner you file it the sooner you can get out of the bed with USCIS.....

Good Luck

Kez

Right now, the knowledge that you have to file is hanging over you like a lead weight. Send the **** thing in and drop the load!

hello,

wonder if i send the I 751 on 16th or 17th february 2007, will i be able to travel outside the USA while my file is sent. That way, I will still have my unexpired conditional resident card with me ( it will expire on may 16th 2007). do i have to wait for NOA or not necessary to wait as I will still have unexpired card with me.

Please advice

Thanks in advance

I think you should be fine as long as you are back before your green card does expire....

my plan is to mail it off this weekend... whistling.gif

but I have a few questions first....

can I mail the package registered? so that when they get they have to sign for it and I know they have received it or do I just send it regular post??

Also about how long does it take to get the NOA1??

We are going up to Canada from March 16th to March 22nd.... My green card doesn't expire until April 2nd but what I am worried about is if they schedule my Biometrics appointment for that time I am gone... I have heard people say that they didn't get a lot of notice for the Biometrics appointment... unsure.gif

I didnt send it registered, but sent it with delivery confirmation! I was told by the postal dude, sending a registered pkg is the slowest method. I belive it took a month to get the first NOA, and then a month after that I got my BIometrics appt letter. I still had like a 3 week period from letter to appt, lots of time. I evenhad to chg the appt date, and that was extremely easy.

I sent my package in on Jan 3rd. My biometrics appointment is Feb 8th and I got the appointment letter ... ummm...(trying to remember)... 4 days ago? I think so.
*Marilyn*
well, I finally got it mailed of today...

I couldn't send it with delivery confirmation so I sent it certified....
Tammi
Why couldn't you send it with delivery confirmation??

Why couldn't you send it with delivery confirmation??

because it said the package had to be more then 3/4 of an inch thick...
Tammi
That's odd. I just send my passport renewal application on Friday with delivery confirmation and it was definitely under 1/2 an inch.
*Marilyn*
I used the automated postal thing and that is what it said when I choose that option....
