I am a Legal Permanent Resident. I sent the I-130 package to the Texas Service Center on December 5, 2006, and on December 20, 2006 they cashed my check.
But I did not get the Notice of Action yet. Is this normal, or something is wrong?

Check the reverse side of your cashed check for a case number and then use the number (Starts with WAC###) to check status on USCIS site.

LPR cases can take several years wait to get a VISA number from NVC.

I'm an LRP also. I filed at TSC for my wife in March 2004 and got the NOA1 after 1 month. In October 2006 the file was transfered to CSC for processing and have not heard from them since. She is now here on an F1 student visa so hopefully it will be approved by the time she finishes her Masters degree next year.

How do I get the cashed check though?
