I have seen on the I-131 form that there is an option to send the AP document to your countries local embassy. My wife would prefer to pick her AP up at the embassy in her country because it would be ready when she is abroad taking her exams and graduation from her university.

Does anyone think this is a good option? Also what does an AP look like? Is it a piece of paper, or a stamp in your passport?

Has anyone ever picked up there AP at a foreign embassy while their AOS was still pending?
